Description
The constant vibration of an engine creates a unique problem for an exhaust seal. It has to be rigid and flexible so the engineers at EGC have developed a seal that is made of various interlayer materials for improved performance and handling. Used between the exhaust manifold and the bell, Thermafoil® flexible graphite is used in combination with stainless steel mesh for unsurpassed leak-tight sealability. In short, it resists wear and abrasion over extended periods of time and stands up to 350 degree F service temperatures.
