Fluid Sealing Materials

EGC fluid sealing materials are engineered for high-temperature, high-pressure, and chemically demanding applications where standard sealing materials may not perform. Our flexible graphite materials include Thermafoil® sheet and roll, Thermafoil® laminated sheet and roll, Thermacord® packing yarn, Thermabraid® braided gasket packing, Ribbon-Pack, adhesive backed tapes, and other graphite-based materials designed for sealing, gasketing, packing, and custom component fabrication.

Thermafoil® materials are available in a range of graphite constructions, including single-layer flexible graphite, homogeneous graphite laminates, non-metal reinforced laminates, metal-reinforced graphite laminates, and graphite laminated to application-specific substrates. Sheets and rolls can be supplied in standard sizes or custom configurations, with gaskets and sealing components precision-cut to meet exact temperature, pressure, and chemical service requirements.

For demanding flange and valve applications, EGC also engineers laminated graphite materials such as Alta-P, a multi-layer construction of Thermafoil® flexible graphite and stainless steel designed for large-diameter, high-pressure, and high-temperature sealing applications.
