Description
An EGC Wire Mesh Packing Ring eliminates packing contamination in process pumps. When an engineer presented the idea to EGC’s President, his response was “that’s a damned good idea” and the name, DGI was adopted. The molded product is manufactured from Nickel 200, a non-galling material with a high corrosion resistance to caustics. The DGI rings are flexible and compressible, have an extremely high tensile strength, can be bevel cut on one side and provide excellent anti-extrusion properties. They are widely used in pulp and paper, wastewater treatment and asphalt processing applications.
