Clamp load is factor that can’t be ignored when it comes to gasket performance. A two bolt flange for instance, means your hands are tied when trying to create even gasket loading. But EGC has created a methodology that helps spread the load by increasing the density of the material (where there is no bolt) over the gasket body for exactly the right fit. Available in Tri-Clad, graphite, graphite polymers and elastomers the gaskets have been developed with internal compression limiters to keep flanges from bending or rotating.
