Die-less Cut

Description

Die-less cutting is used to make all prototypes and a growing number of the products at EGC.  The truth is that every piece of material from our flexible graphite to polymers to metal needs to be cut once before it’s processed and again when it’s finished.  Our die-less cutters can do both.  Using essentially a CAD drawing, the die-less cutter “nests” the items to be configured and uses a pneumatic or electric blade to determine the depth and make the cut.  The die-less cutter can make an order as small as a single gasket all at a fraction of the cost of creating an actual die.  And, with two die-less cutters we can kiss-cut or slice through any material including metal.
