Description
Thermafoil Alta-P multi-layer gasket laminate material has been developed for large diameter and high-pressure flanges. Alta-P is made of alternating layers of Thermafoil Flexible Graphite and metal for excellent material strength. Alta-P is excellent for high pressure applications that are exposed to extreme temperatures and corrosive media including heat exchanger and chemical reactor flanges. Thermafoil Alta-P coincides with industry performance standards at temperatures that are less than 1200 degrees F in non-oxidizing environments and has an “M&Y Factor” of 2.5 and 2000psi.
