Thom Jessup, Fluid Sealing Sales Manager for EGC Enterprises, was presented with a Service Award for the Valve Manufacturing Association (VMA). The Award was presented on September 27, 2018, at VMA’s Annual meeting in Truckee, California by Mark Nahorski, President of PBM Inc and immediate past chairman of VMA.
According to Marc Pasternak, Vice President of VMA and Executive Director of the Valve Repair Council, the award is presented to those who have been good for the valve manufacturing industry and extremely active in their association with the VMA. According to Pasternak, “Thom has always been an industry advocate and participates in every meeting that the VMA holds. That’s a primary reason for his winning.”
“The Service Award is a pretty exclusive club,” says Pasternak. “When you look at the thousands of VMA members and you’re the person that won a Service Award, that’s a measure of individuality. It’s a real credit to Thom.” The award was presented on Gala night at the annual meeting at the Ritz Carlton, Lake Tahoe.
