Description
Thermaworks Resilient Core Gaskets provide a unique spring-action metal core which maintains its resilience throughout the operational life cycle. The stainless steel, multi-wave design securely captivates the Thermafoil fire-safe flexible graphite facing material and creates a labyrinth of defined, high density, high load sealing regions. The regions result in a gasket that delivers the ultimate seal ability over an extreme range of operating conditions and clamp loads. The integral grommet prevents any material from entering the system, and improved sealing ability has shown that – compare to its metal counterpart – there’s a reduction in clamp load of 50%. Thermaworks RCG is available for ANSI B16.5, 150#, and 300# raised-face flanges in sizes 2” through 10”.
