Control Valve Balance Seal Design

Description

Most graphite-based seal designs create high-friction and stem effort during operation and many actuators may over-compensate causing inaccurate positioning of the plug or piston causing system inefficiency.  EGC does it differently.  We’ve found methods to greatly reduce friction during valve operation while achieving a tight shut-off when it really counts.  And the beauty of it all is EGC’s ability to work at the highest possible steam control level for temperature and pressure.
