Vapor-Lock, otherwise known as Sootblower packing, is made to withstand the most extreme conditions. The carbon fiber, PTFE-coated end rings provide low friction performance while the Thermafoil® cone-cupped center rings provide a superior seal even at extreme steam temperatures of 1200 degrees F (650 degrees C) or in atmospheric environments of up to 850 degrees F (455 degrees C).
