When it comes to Thermafoil® high-density graphite pressure seals, we’ve just about mastered the delivery process. Over the last few years, on-time shipments have exceeded 99%.  That’s phenomenal!  And, we have customers who ask, how do you maintain that level of  consistency? The answer is always the same.

We’ve got a killer engineering team that makes every VSG from scratch.  Each valve in the aftermarket suffers wear and tear just from daily operation. In the clear majority of cases, the metal seal has enlarged or misshapen the valve cavity and a standard replacement just won’t work.  It’s got to be re-designed and that’s what our engineers do best.

When the design has been approved, it’s sent to manufacturing. This team has people that are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They work after-hours, weekends and holidays because we’ve made a promise to you to get your VSG pressure seal in 48 hours or less.

Then customer service plays a major shipping role.  Sometimes, when the time limit is 48 hours, we can ship your pressure seal using UPS or FedEx.  When the deadline is faster (we had to ship to Puerto Rico in 12 hours), customer service pulls out all the stops using a hot-shot delivery or even a charter flight. Anything to get you what you need, when you need it.

Most important is the commitment of corporate management.  They realize the importance of maintenance and repair in the power plant.  Keeping the plant running is your job.  Supplying the products is ours.

We’re at 99% now, but we’re shooting for 100%.
